The Well-being of Authenticity

Replying “no”
to inauthentic wanting,
Feels like punishment
for inauthentic wanting.

For the Authentic One,
“No” to inauthentic wanting,
is not punishment at all.
But rather, Absolute Joy.

The Authentic One
The one who wants nothing
but Authenticity,
Abides in Authenticity,
And recognizes
there is nothing else to want.

The recognition that “no”
is the truth to inauthentic wanting
Changes perception
From fear,
To relief.

Fear in saying ‘no’ to inauthenticity,
births inauthentic resistance.
Courage in saying ‘no’
destroys it.
And what remains is
The Peace & Security
Of Authentic Wellbeing.
