What Does Thought Point To?

To the mind UNREALIZED, thought points to its learned invented personal self that is known within thought alone.

From this limited perspective, thought points to an inner subjective self, and an outside objective world made of people, places and things.

To the mind REALIZED, thought points to the empty fulfillment of its True Reality: Awareness Itself.

Awareness appears as “thinking”; which is created, known, owned and made of Formless Awareness. No “other” creates, knows, or owns a thought.

Thought is not really an objective “thing” referring to a subjective self.

Thought is the direct experience of Awareness taking the form of thinking, and this thinking comes from and is made of awareness only.

Even the content of thought does not refer to objective “things”.

Content of thought is the direct experience of Formless Awareness taking on an appearance of conceiving, believing, remembering, imagining, assuming, perceiving, feeling, & sensing. And these forms are made of formless Awareness, all directly known through Awareness, by Awareness and made of Awareness.

There is nothing “else” in a thought, but the Completion and Fulfillment of Awareness alone. The diversity of thought can seem to deceive, and become a distractive hiding place for Awareness to get lost in. But this can only seem to occur when desire takes over to focus upon the content of thought, rather than on recognizing and realizing that all there is to thought, is Awareness ItSelf.

Awareness can never be lost or lose Itself; it can only ignore Itself, by ItSelf.
